Hint:
Connecting the lamp cables to the miniature plug is as simple as can be: you feed the lamp cable from behind through the small hole in the plug, carefully remove a piece of insulation from each of the two wires and then wrap the exposed copper wire around one of the plug contact pins in each case; this directly at the beginning of the pins.

Safety transformer,
manufactured in Germany, in accordance with DIN EN61558-2-6.
For use in dry rooms only.
Transformer is completely moulded into the plastic housing.
Protected on the input side by a current-sensitive temperature switch 110°C, with self-holding function (combined protection against overtemperature and overcurrent).
Connected loads:
Primary: 230 V~, 50/60 Hz
Secondary: 12 V~ / 5.17 A
Power: 60 VA, with overtemperature switch
Connection:
Input:
Flat cable 2x 0.75mm², 1.40 m long, with Euro flat plug.
Output:
Round cable 2x 1.5mm², white, 0.5 m long, ends stripped.
Dimensions (WxHxD):
100 x 70 x 60 mm
Weight: 1.5 kg
Note:
The transformer is suitable for max. 80 light bulbs or 8 soffit strips (indirect lighting # 20600 = 2 soffit strips / pack).
For larger loads, we recommend our transformer 105 VA, 8.9 A (item no. 22520).
If the transformer overheats (overloads), the built-in thermal switch briefly switches the transformer off to protect the system.
IMPORTANT: The temperature switch does NOT reset itself after a fault. This is for safety reasons to prevent unintentional restarting. To reset the built-in temperature switch, the transformer must be completely disconnected from the power supply for a few minutes.
